Bei all den vielen Feiertagen im Frühling kann man leicht die Übersicht verlieren. Aber eigentlich ist das Etikett auf dem Feiertag ja auch nicht so wichtig, Hauptsache man darf ausschlafen. Und das darf man am Donnerstag nach diesem Mittwoch auch und wer hier feiert, der dürfte ein paar Extrastunden im Bett dringend nötig haben: Nic Fanciulli schaut auf ein Set vorbei. Der Italiener hat einen Grammy im Trophäenschrank stehen, ist seit einem Vierteljahrhundert nicht mehr aus der elektronischen Welt wegzudenken und hat mit Saved eines der global renommiertesten Labels weltweit ins Leben gerufen. Fanciulli teilt sich die Nacht mit De La Maso, Soame, Nadara & Baerg, Dario D’Attis, Cavabien und Nici Faerber.

Was für ein Jahr das war. Eines, für das wir uns bei all jenen bedanken möchten, die uns so fleissig die Ehre erwiesen haben. Und die mit ihrem beeindruckenden Feierwillen dafür gesorgt haben, dass hier so viele so wunderbare Feste stattgefunden haben. Dankeschön. Deshalb trommeln wir für die Nacht der Nächte all die vielen DJs zusammen, die das hivesche 2023 unvergesslich gemacht haben und schmeissen eine Silvesterparty, die sagenhafte 30 Stunden dauert. Von Sonntag 22 Uhr bis zum Wechsel von Montag auf Dienstag. Grosszügiges Vorschlafen wird also empfohlen. Wir freuen uns darauf, mit Dir das neue Jahr begrüssen zu dürfen.

Peter Cornely alias Karotte war gefühlt schon immer da. Und er legt tatsächlich schon einiges länger seine Hand an Platten, als so manches Clubberchen auf der Welt ist: Ender 80er und nach seiner Ausbildung zum Schornsteinfeger, entschied er sich für eine weniger verrusste Weise seinen Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten und nahm erste Bookings an. Damals noch vornehmlich im heimischen Saarland und von längst vergangenen Adressen wie dem Mirage oder dem Schwimmschiff in Saarbrücken. Karotte war Resident in Väths Frankfurter Cocoon Club zu dessen Glanzzeiten und auch im legendären U60311 war er jahrelang regelmässig an den Turntables anzutreffen; dieser Mann ist lebende, lebendige und auflegende Nightlife-Geschichte. Heute Nacht spielt er all night long in der Disco, David Aurel, Dario D’Attis, Soame und Sous Sol teilen sich die Booth in der Tanzstube.

Ganze sechs Jahre sind seit der letzten Badenfahrt vergangen und damals wurde mit rund 1,2 Millionen Besucherinnen und Besuchern für dieses mit Abstand grösste Fest im Aargau aufgestellt. Nun putzt sich die prächtige Stadt an der Limmat wieder heraus und wird zur Festhütte mit unzähligen Attraktionen, aufwendig konstruierten Aufbauten und Bühnen und Foodständen. Auch das Hive wird sich an der Badenfahrt beteiligen du zwar mit einer gross angelegten Hive Air, die zehn Tage lang all das bietet, wofür das Hive steht.

Labelhochzeit für eine Nacht: Hive Audio tut’s mit Labil mit Stil. Da muss zwangsläufig was Gutes bei rumkommen und so ist es denn auch. Konkreter: Ein Set von Amine K beispielsweise, präsentiert von Hive Audio. Der marokkanische ‘Botschafter für elektronische Musik’ hat vor allem Eines im Sinn und zwar den Leuten vor der Booth ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu zaubern. Er verleiht seinen Produktionen und seinen Sets eine Unmenge Seele, Groove und schmeckt sie dann mit Leichtfüssigkeit ab. Bei Aminie K scheint alles luftig und leicht, verfügt aber handkehrum über beeindruckend viel Tiefgang. Grossartige Elektronik von einem Ausnahmetalent. Komplettiert wird die von Hive Audio gehostete Disco von Soame und Dario D’Attis. In der Tanzi amtet und waltet derweil Labil mit Stil, samt Spiel von Nickster b2b Sandman, Patrick Rubrecht, Suspect One, Baba Ganjou b2b Der Köhler.

Nach dem grossen Rummel mit Lastwagen am Seebecken, geht’s an die Strassenparade im Bienenstock. Das hat Tradition und solche Traditionen soll man pflegen, indem man ihnen nachkommt. Und in diesem spezifischen Fall macht das Spass wie sonst fast gar nichts. Auch wegen des feinen Line Ups, das für diesen besonderen Anlass zusammengestellt wird.

Seinen fulminanten Aufstieg verdankt der US-Amerikaner Eagles & Butterflies vor allem seinem Studiotalent, das sich mit herausragenden Veröffentlichungen auf Weltmarken wie Art Imitating Life und Dixons und Âmes Innervisions-Imprint manifestiert. Eagles & Butterflies’ Musik ist gespickt mit Anleihen aus den elektronischen Pionierzeiten in den 80ern und klingt dennoch hochmodern. Dominante Synthpassagen gesellen sich bei ihm zu Referenzen an Wave und Disco. Made by Pete musiziert unter den Fittichen von Crosstown Rebels um Damian Lazarus, was ein zuverlässiger Hinweis auf die Gangart seines Outputs ist: Relaxte Grooves, Melodien mit Raum zur Entfaltung und alles lichtdurchflutet und öfter mit melancholischer Grundierung. Soame, Anthik, July, Herr Müller und Kellerkind machen die Kanzel vollständig.

SOAME und Tschan sind Gast im Affekt St. Gallen. Ab 22.00 Uhr bis 03.00 Uhr gibt es back2back Brudi Power.

Fur Coat ist im Studio wie auch an den Decks zuhause, wobei er seine Studioarbeit nutzt um seinen Sound weiterzuentwickeln und die Booth, um neue Ideen auszuprobieren und zu sehen, wie neue Tracks beim Publikum ankommen. Fur Coat ist also ein ganzheitlicher Clubmusiker und zwar einer, der mit seinem 2020er-Album ‘Polyphony’ einen markanten Meilenstein an den Wegesrand der elektronischen Musik gesetzt hat. Fur Coat ist auf der ständigen Suche nach neuen Sounds um sich weiterzuentwickeln und ist dafür auch schon eine Kooperation mit einem 20köpfigen Orchester eingegangen. Moonbootica wiederum begleiten das Hive bereits seit dessen Anfängen und KoweSix und Tobitob sind mit den Jahren zu guten Freunden des Clubs geworden. Auch heute noch vermengen sie die unterschiedlichsten stilistischen Einflüsse zu einem unverwechselbaren elektronischen Sound, in dem ihre frühen Hip Hop-Tage aber noch immer durchschimmern. Clari Annn, Franze, Kyuubi, Miguel Lautaro b2b Lumme, Natch, Simoki, Soame und Vanita runden die Nacht ab.

Nach einem erfolgreichen Debüt, steht auch im Jahr 2023 der Zeiger nicht still und dreht sich am Samstag, 14.01.2023 erneut tanzintensiv rund um d`Uhr. Die frenetisch wachsende Technokultur gewinnt zunehmend an Beliebtheit, somit höchste Zeit, dass wir nicht bis Mitternacht warten müssen, sondern bereits ab 17:00 Uhr zu kraftvollen und energetischen Dj-Sets tanzen dürfen. Von fünf bis fünf oder halt eben; Rund um d`Uhr, wird der Dancefloor im Musikraum Tap Tab, an der Baumgartenstrasse 19 in Schaffhausen, wortgetreu in ein Trommelfeuer versetzt. Mit Soame konnte ein Act verpflichtet werden, der nebst seiner intuitiven Erfahrung als DJ auch unzählige Musikproduktionen auf renommierten Musikvertrieben wie z.B. Hive Audio vorzuweisen hat. Seine DJ-Sets sind vielseitig, groovig von House bis Techno. Abgerundet wird das DJ Line Up mit Lokalmatadoren wie Sam Madi, Schwendix, DJane Mary Cey, Robin Garcia und Codenzi. Somit stehen alle Zutaten bereit für einen tanzintensiven 12 Stunden Rave im Tap Tab Schaffhausen. Ein Ritus, der erlebt werden muss.

Hallo 2023, adieu 2022. Aber nicht ohne danke zu sagen: 2022 war das Jahr, in dem das Nachtleben zurückgekehrt ist, nach zwei langen Jahren, in denen es meist gar nicht und wenn, dann nur auf Sparflamme gelaufen ist. Und als dann im Februar alle Massnahmen aufgehoben wurden, mussten wir kein einziges Wochenende warten, bis auch Du wieder in die Gänge kommst, liebe Biene: Danke, dass Du uns umgehend wieder beehrt hast und danke für Deine Solidarität und Loyalität. Damit Du den Rutsch ins neue Jahr bekommst, den Du verdienst, öffnen wir heute alle Floors und lassen all die vielen DJs an unsere Plattenteller, die unseren Club Wochenende für Wochenende zum Klingen gebracht haben. Wir wünschen Dir und deinen Liebsten einen guten Start ins 2023 und möge es das bislang beste Jahr deines Lebens werden.

wAFF ist ein Mann der Prinzipien. Nicht nur was seine Musik angeht, sondern auch was seine Lebensweise betrifft: Als erklärter Tierfreund ernährt er sich strikt vegan und agiert auch als Botschafter für diese Art der Ernährung, die ihm nach eigener Aussage nur Vorteile einbringt. wAFF ist aber auch ein ‘hard working man in showbiz’, der seit bald 20 Jahren durch eine konsequente artistische Philosophie und ein Höchstmass an Hingabe überzeugt. Ob Drumcode, ob Cocoon oder ob Desolat: All seine Veröffentlichungen sind das Hinhorchen wert und viele von ihnen gelten völlig zu Recht als stilbildend. Gemeinsam mit wAFF bespielen Carla Durisch, Cavabien, Dario D'Attis, De La Maso, Sous Sol und SOAME den Abend für euch.

Ein Kater streunt durch die Büxe. Nicht irgendeiner, sondern der Stubentiger, der auf seinem Rücken Sound Berlins in die Welt hinausgetragen hat. Katermukkes Ursprünge reichen bis in die glorreichen Tage der Bar 25 zwischen 2003 und 2010 zurück. Als diese vor 12 Jahren mit einer fünftägigen Party verabschiedet wurde, war Dirty Doering bereits fester Bestandteil der Familie, die sich daraufhin mit dem Kater Holzig ein neues Zuhause schuf, der Homebase von Katermukke. Dirty Doering, längst selbst eine lebende und auflegende Berliner Clubmusik-Institution ist sozusagen Katermukke in Personalunion und das Label nicht zuletzt ein Spiegelbild seiner artistischen Visionen. Er bespielt das Wohnzimmer gemeinsam mit Animal Trainer, Soame und Umut Yasin und im Salon spielen Giuli und Yarbit

Sam Paganini hat bereits als Teenager in verschiedenen Bands Schlagzeug, Klavier und Gitarre gespielt und so seine musikalische Begabung bewiesen. Einem wie ihm, dem die Welt der Musik ein so reiches und vielseitiges Talent geschenkt hat, eröffnete die elektronische Revolution ungeahnte Möglichkeiten, die Paganini auch schon früh zu nutzen wusste: 1996 veröffentlichte er unter dem Pseudonym Paganini Traxx den Song ‘Zoe’. Es dauerte doch eine ganze Weile, bis er den Mann traf, der ihm den Weg zu weltweitem Ruhm ebnete: 2011 war es, als Richie Hawtin ihn für sein Plus 8-Label gesignt hat. Dann zog es ihn weiter zu Sven Väths Cocoon und 2014 dann releaste er erstmals auf Adam Beyers Drumcode-Marke und zwar gleich einen modernen Klassiker, der Song ‘Rave’. Im August dieses Jahres hat er seine erste Live-Show gespielt und zwar in der Fabrik in Madrid. Neben Sam Paganini stehen Dario D’Attis, Definition, De La Maso, Meraki, Samy Jackson und Soame in der Booth.

Am Samstag, 23.10.2021 trifft Flora und Fauna auf apokalyptische Klänge und verwandelt den «Club Bellevue» einmal mehr in einen galaktischen «Cosmic Garden». Nebst unübertroffener Klang-Qualität, lässt ein ordentlich geschmücktes Outdoor-Feeling, den Sommer zurückspulen. Für ein extraordinäres Tanz und Musik Erlebnis sorgt kein geringerer als das italienische Wunderkind Alessandro Cozzolino aka «Cioz» aus der «Stil vor Talent» Family. Seine Musik-Produktionen klingen nicht nur sehr gut, sondern sind auch ausgesprochen mitreißend und tanzbar. Ordentlich Support erhält «Cioz» von «Sam Madi», «Suwi» und «SOAME».

Am Donnerstag den 07. Mai ist Hive Audio mit der ganzen Bande im Club Dihei zu Gast. Ab 15.00 Uhr geht es los bis Mitternacht. Wir freuen uns sehr für Euch endlich wieder einmal etwas Musik spielen zu dürfen und hoffen Euch damit zu Hause eine kleine Freude zu bereiten in dieser schwierigen Zeit. Jeder Act von uns spielt jeweils eine Stunde und wir planen noch die eine oder andere Spezial Aktion während den insgesamt 9 Stunden Live Stream. Natürlich könnt ihr wie immer während dem Live Stream eine Spende platzieren und wir würden uns riesig über Eure Unterstützung freuen. Die erhaltenen Spenden geben wir einigen Künstlern von uns ab, welche momentan durch das Veranstaltungsverbot gar kein Einkommen mehr haben und wir mit dem Label und der Club Dihei Spendenaktion gerne unterstützen möchten.

Der Lift Off zum Monatsabschluss. Wie stets gehört auch der letzte Samstag im März 2020 den Astro- und Kosmonauten und die haben sich nicht lumpen lassen: Heidi kommt spielen. Heidi ist in Kanada geboren und in England zuhause. In London hat sie sich nicht nur einen Namen als DJ und Produzentin gemacht, sondern auch als Teil von Phonica, einem der wichtigsten Plattenläden der Stadt. Ein weiteres Zuhause hat Heidi mit Ibiza gefunden, da wohl auf Dauer immer nur London doch ziemlich regnerisch. Hypnotische, dubby Basslines sind ihr Ding, gerne versehen mit spaceigen Synthpassagen. Robbie Akbal ist ein verdienter Veteran der mexikanischen Clubmusik-Szene, der heute in Berlin lebt. Er ist der Mann hinter Akbal Music, hat aber auch auf Get Physical, Kindisch und vielen anderen Labels mehr veröffentlicht. Die Raketenbauer von Animal Trainer spielen selbstverständlich ebenfalls und Dario D’Attis, Juli Lee, Nici Faerber und Soame geben dem Ganzen den finalen Schliff.

Happy Bee-day to us! Tatsächlich und wirklich wahr: Bereits sind 14 Jahre ins Land gezogen, seit das Hive erstmals Bienen empfangen hat. Es war ein wilder Ritt: Seit den beschaulichen Anfangstagen hat sich der Club kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt, ist gewachsen, hat sich verändert und ist zu einem Leuchtturm des Schweizer Nachtlebens mit internationaler Ausstrahlung geworden. Kaum ein namhafter Clubmusikerin und kaum eine bekannte DJ die nicht bereits Hand ans Hive-Equipment gelegt hätte und auch diverse denkwürdige Konzerte sind hier über die sprichwörtliche Bühne. Kurzum: Die vergangenen 14 Jahre waren eine Ära gespickt mit Highlights und die sollen nun mit einem Jubiläums-Wochenende gefeiert werden, das diese ganze Zeit auf den Punkt bringt.

Bald, bald ist es an der Zeit für das nächste Arosa Electronica Festival. Bis es aber soweit ist beehren uns das Arosa Electronica mit seinen Komparsen abermals um die Vorfreude so richtig anzuheizen und wie auch in den letzten Jahren auf rokiger Seite in Kooperation mit Villa Kunterbunt. Der Headliner heisst Mathias Kaden: Geboren ist Kaden in Karl-Marx-Stadt, heute bekannt als Chemnitz. Im Alter von 17 Jahren zog er dann nach München, kehrte aber Bayern schon nach wenigen Jahren wieder den Rücken. Kaden ist ein immens vielseitiger Clubmusiker, der auch vor Projekten mit klassischen Orchestern nicht zurückschreckt. Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat er zudem sehr viel Kooperations-Erfahrung gesammelt, einerseits in Zweierseilschaften (Beispielsweise mit Marek Hemmann und Daniel Stefanik), aber auch als Mitglied der Combo Karocel. Mathias Kaden ist seit weit über 20 Jahren nachtaktiv. Mit Paracou hat er eine eigene Agentur gegründet, für sich und für befreundete DJs und Live-Acts. Sous Sol, Andreas Ramos und SOAME sorgen in dieser Nacht für den finalen musikalischen Schliff.

Zweimal hoher Besuch heute im Bienenstock. Wobei’s eigentlich dreimal hoher Besuch ist, da Extrawelt ja aus zwei Clubmusikern besteht und zwar aus Wayan Raabe und Arne Schaffhausen. Die beiden Produzenten aus Hamburg haben ihren ersten gemeinsamen Track 1999 veröffentlicht, damals noch unter dem Namen Spiralallianz. Ein Jahr später benannten sie sich in Midimiliz und nochmals zwei Jahre später veröffentlichten sie Downtempo unter dem Pseudonym DownHill. Nochmals zwei Jahre und mindestens ein Namenswechsel später traten sie erstmals als Extrawelt in Erscheinung und zwar auf Betreiben von keinem Geringeren als James Holden. Bereits der erste Release “Soopertrack” wurde zum Hit und 2008 ist auf Väths Cocoon “Schöne neue Extrawelt” erschienen - der Rest ist Geschichte. Solche hat auch Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave geschrieben und zwar mit seinem “Can’t Get Blue Monday out of My Head”, den Kylie Minogue 2002 an den Brit Awards performte - der Startschuss für den Bastard-Pop. Remixe für The White Stripes, Nancy Sinatra und Tiga folgten. 2006 hat Radio Slave sein Rekids-Label an den Start gebracht, bis heute eine putzmuntere Plattform für hochbegabte elektronische Künstler. Neben den beiden AufLegenden spielen heute Nacht Aaron Khaleian, Darrien, Nolé, Sous Sol und SOAME.

Seit vielen, vielen Jahren ist Oliver Koletzki einer der Kernspieler der deutschen Clublandschaft und es gibt nicht vieles, was er in dieser Zeit nicht an den Start gebracht hätte. Die erfolgreichste Erfindung des Herzberliners ist jedoch Stil vor Talent, sein Label. Seit den Imprint-Anfängen mit Acts wie Lützenkirchen und Micky Monza ist die Plattform zur international hyperaktiven herangewachsen und auch Schweizer Studioarbeiter wie beispielsweise der Solothurner Kellerkind haben hier veröffentlicht. Erst neulich war Koletzki “special guest” an der Rakete im Wunderland und nun kommt er gleich nochmal vorbei. Begleitet wird er dabei von seinen SvT-Label-Exponenten Niko Schwind und Elfenberg, die (jeder für sich) ebenfalls über eine treue Schweizer Fangemeinde verfügen. Kyrill & Redford, Soame und Temo Sayin gehen den Gästen aus dem Norden zur Hand.

Herbst ist Erkältungszeit. Macht nicht viel Spass. Ausser die Flu ist eine Super Flu, natürlich: Das Duo ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk, bis hin zu ihren Pressefotos: Unvergessen ihr nackter Ritt auf Fuchur, dem Drachen aus der unendlichen Geschichte. Das mit dem Geamtkunstwerk schliesst ihre Musik selbstverständlich mit ein: Felix Thielmann und Mathias Schwarz verbinden einen knackig-knusprigen Bass mit hi-hats und Sprechblasen und generieren daraus den perfekten Soundtrack für Nächte, die ewig dauern sollten. Mit Monaberry haben sie einen weiteren Superhit im Trophäenschrank stehen, der insbesondere auch in der Überarbeitung von Matthias Tanzmann in die heavy rotation eines jeden 4/4-Takt-Mögers gehört. Soame und Sous Sol machen den Mainfloor komplett und die Tanzi gehört in dieser Nacht Fuchs küsst Hase, inklusive eines Sets von Andreas Henneberg: Der Berliner ist Gründer von Voltage Musique Records und von Cascandy und ist ein wahrer Workaholic, ob am Club-Equipment oder im Studio. Er ist seit Mitte der 90er aktiv und bewegt sich im Feld zwischen Tech House, Minimal und Techno. Nici Faerber, Polké und Lucian Reck tanzstuben ebenfalls.

Techno für Bienen heisst Uhrwerk. Die Zutaten: Ein Headliner von internationalem Ruf und Namen und dazu Sets von Schweizer DJs, die ihr kreatives Schaffen dem clubmusikalischen Schnurstracks verschrieben haben. Angeführt wird das Line Up von Paula Temple. Die meisten kennen Paula Temple als grossartige Produzenten und dank Veröffentlichungen wie der “Deathvox”-EP oder der “The Speck of the Future”-EP. Andere wissen um ihr Talent als Remixerin für Artisten wie The Knife, Peaches oder Perera Elsewhere. Dann wären da natürlich auch noch ihre Sets, zu hören am Detroiter Movement, am australischen Pitch, an der Mutek in Mexiko oder in Clubs wie dem Tresor, dem Berghain oder dem About Blank. Nur wenige wissen, dass sie auch eine sehr Technik-orientierte Seite und einen innovativen live performance midi controller namens MXF8 entwickelt hat und das bereits 2001 - einer der Ersten seiner Art. Kurzum: Paula Temple ist ein 360 Grad-Talent. Hier spielt sie zusammen mit dem Uhrwerkmacher Darrien.

Einige dürften nicht schlecht gestaunt haben, als Hannes und Holger 2017 ihr Label Burlesque Musique aufgelöst haben. Immerhin war die Plattform zur international angesehenen Marke gewachsen und zwar dank nachhaltiger Aufbauarbeit. AKA AKA verkündeten damals jedoch, dass sie mit Sacrebleu bereits einen neuen Imprint in petto haben und sie machten sich flugs daran, auch diesem Ruhm und Ehre anzuhäufen und zwar mit herausragenden Veröffentlichungen von Künstlern wie D!e Zwe!, Sasch BBC oder Ben Böhmer, der in diesem August ebenfalls ein Hive-Gastspiel gegeben hat. Mit HYMNS bringen AKA AKA nun abermals einen neuen Imprint vors Volk, das sie hier den Bienen vorstellen und damit zeigen, dass es sie für sie immer weiter geht und musikalisch nie Stillstand herrschen darf. Nader und Sous Sol mainflooren ebenfalls und in der Tanzi gibt’s Mischware von Don Ramon, Soame und Tschan.

SOAME will play again on the 15th of Mai at the Colour Series Label Night at Club Bellevue in Zürich together with Jem Haynes. The event will be also a release party for the new upcoming EP of SOAME on Colour Series.

SOAME will be part of a great event at Garage in Lüneburg Germany on April 11th. His friends from the VonNorden Label organize the party that comes along with a great Line Up and Decoration. Finally. New Sound from the Colour Series Boys and we're going to celebrate this happy occasion at Club Bellevue on the 9th of May. After the Compilation last Summer it is now time for the first EP of Jem Haynes & Mike Peters called "Hang Heels" and also the first Solo EP of Mike Peters called "Protest". Both will be available in May on Beatport. For the Release Party Jem Haynes and Mike Peters will be ready together with Nici Faerber to rock Club Bellevue and celebrate the Release of both EPs.

Arosa Electronica is an Electronic Music festival that will take place in Arosa from the 23rd to the 30th of March 2014. The Mountain Village is situated in the Swiss Alps and is 1800 meters above sea level. It offers a sensational ski area together with Lenzerheide that gives you 225km of slope fun, bob sledge killer runs, great wellness and chillout venues. 

The Festival features great day time outdoor parties and club nights till the early morning. The Line Up itself with Artists from Switzerland and Europe makes Arosa in this week not only the place to be for winter fun but also the place for electronic music fans.
